Elster-Instromet TRZ type turbine meters are manufactured durable in accordance with the conditions of use in measurement stations.  Within years, turbine meters have proven that they are very correct and reliable meters for gas measurement.  Elster-Instromet patented measurement cartridges are not affected by factor such heat fluctuation arising from the body or outer environment since they are protected with O-rings.  TRZ2 type turbine meters are manufactured between the diameters DN50 - DN150, while SM-RI type turbine meters are manufactured between the diameters DN200 - DN600.

Working Principle:

Gas passing through the meter assures that turbine wheel moves; number of rotations of the wheel and the amount of the gas passing through meter are proportional.  The gas entering the meter passes through “Flow guide”, which is located at meter entrance, is specially designed and patented.  This “flow guide” is designed in order to eliminate potential flow disorders.  Movement of the turbine wheel is transferred to the 8 digit mechanic numerator through gearbox group.
