The Elginkan Group, which serves the Turkish industry and takes pride in being the first to produce in many business sectors, was founded in 1950 in Ankara with the Ekrem Elginkan Engineering Office. Its first areas of activity were heating systems, city drinking water transmission lines and city networks, dams, railways, highways and construction contracting works. Later, 'Ekrem, Cahit and Ahmet Elginkan Collective Partnership' was established by Ahmet Elginkan and his sons Ekrem and Cahit Elginkan.

In 1957, the Group, formed from the initials of the father and sons' names, established its industrial focus under the name "E.C.A. Presdöküm Sanayii Limited Şirketi" (E.C.A. Presdöküm Sanayii Limited Şirketi), and began producing plumbing fixtures.

Since its founding, the Group has expanded its operations to include the production and marketing of valves and fixtures, ceramic sanitary ware, central and individual heating and cooling devices, gas and electric water heaters, white and brown goods, gray cast iron products, molds, food, construction, and industrial raw materials, reaching its current product range.

The Elginkan Group operates with a holistic approach, from raw materials to sales. The planning and execution of this chain is achieved through continuous and significant information exchange and management within and between the companies.

Today, the Elginkan Group, operating with 3000 employees and 19 companies in various sectors, continues to offer quality products to consumers with the brands E.C.A., SEREL, ARSEL, EMAS, ODÖKSAN, ELBA, AR, YAK and SPİL SEREL.
